The Drama Desk nominated Transport Group presents the first New York revival of Tad Mosel’s 1961 Pulitzer Prize-winning play All the Way Home. Based on James Agee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, A Death in the Family, All the Way Home is a portrait of early twentieth century family life and the crushing intrusion of sudden death. Tad Mosel, who also received the New York Drama Circle Critics Award for Best Play for All the Way Home, was a writer for the early live television series Playhouse 90, Omnibus, Goodyear Television Playhouse, and Chevrolet Tele-Theater. His screenplays include Dear Heart and Up the Down Staircase. He received the 1977 Emmy for outstanding writing for the landmark PBS mini-series, The Adams Chronicles.
